Q What days to you cruise?
A Thursday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday

Q Where do you go?
A We do an inner harbour cruise of the Waitamata Harbour. Usually an anti-clockwise circuit taking in the major sights of Auckland inner harbour including Ports of Auckland, Eastern Bays, Devonport, Auckland Harbour Bridge, Chelsea Sugar Refinery, Westhaven Marina and the Viaduct.

Q How much does it cost?
A Please view our website for the most up to date cost information as price’s do vary for the different cruises we have available. Prices start from $39 per adult or $20 per child for a two hour cruise only and go up to $99 per adult or $50 per child for our three hour cruise and four course meals.

Q Do you have to book?
A Yes, bookings are essential. If you want to book a Saturday or Sunday cruise it is advised you book three weeks in advance. Thursday and Fridays are far less stretched out and sometimes it is possible to book these on the day. If you are celebrating a special anniversary you must book as soon as possible so as not to miss out.

Q If I have a voucher, do I still have to book?
A Yes absolutely. A voucher does not guarantee you a seat on any cruise you want to book. You do need to book in advance for catering and staff purposes. It also allows us to make sure the voucher being used is valid.

Q Do I have to eat if I do a cruise?
A No. We have two decks on the boat. A cruise only deck and a restaurant deck. Those who wish just to cruise and not order from our main menu can cruise on our cruise only deck. There is snack food available if you do feel a little peckish.  The restaurant deck is where you would order from either the set menu or our a la carte menu.

Q Can I take my own food onto the boat?
A No food is permitted to be brought onto the boat unless it is for babies who can only eat pureed food ie (6 – 12 month old babies). We are a fully licensed restaurant and bar and any food must be purchased from the Waipa Delta.

Q Do you do BYO drinks?
A No BYO drinks will be accepted except for toasting Champagne for special chartered cruises. Corkage fees will apply.

Q How many people can the boat fit?
A By maritime laws, we can have a maximum of 139 guests on the boat. This amount will vary depending on the sizes of the groups booked and the floor plan. The menu chosen for chartered bookings will also affect the floor plan and the maximum people per deck.

Q Can children and infants go on the boat?
A Yes. However, there are some restrictions for some of our special cruises – eg Valentines Cruise, New Years Eve Spectacular. It is not recommended to take infants or young children on the 7-10pm cruises especially during the November and December period as these cruises are generally large group corporate bookings and may not be suitable.
